Macramé Art Comox: Bramble Blossom Studio at Land & Sea Brewing

ostrowadmin · December 3, 2025 · Leave a Comment Filed Under: Studio Life & Exhibits

UPDATE: February 20, 2026 my exhibit at Land & Sea Brewing came to a close. Thank you Land & Sea Brewing for hosting part of my collection this season. *

I’m excited to share that my macramé art is now on exhibit in Comox at Land & Sea Brewing! This “stop, shop & sip” brewery has become a favourite community spot, and I’m so grateful to have my fibre art hanging on their walls until mid-February. If you’ve been wanting to experience macrame art in Comox up close, this is the perfect chance. Pieces currently featured are from my Oceanscape collection.

See Macramé Art Comox in Person

Macramé is beautifully textured and three-dimensional, and seeing it in person makes all the difference. At Land & Sea Brewing, you can walk right up to each piece, notice the layered knots, and get a feel for the warmth and movement of natural fibres. There’s an exhibit card with a QR code beside every piece — you can simply scan to purchase and take it home the same day.

Stop, Shop & Sip at Land & Sea

Land & Sea Brewing (at 2040 Guthrie Rd in Comox) is such a welcoming place to enjoy handcrafted food and drinks while discovering local makers. If you’re looking for recommendations, my personal favourite is the Street Corn Nachos — gluten-free and Celiac-friendly. They also offer gluten-free beer, which makes it easy for everyone to enjoy something.

You can learn more about them at their website: www.landandseabrewing.ca.

Supporting Local Fibre Art

I’m incredibly grateful to businesses like Land & Sea Brewing for supporting local artists and giving us beautiful spaces to share our work. If you’re exploring local studios, you can also take a peek at the fibre art collections on my website at Bramble Blossom Studio.

Visit Before Mid-February

My macramé art exhibit in Comox will be on display until mid-February. Come for a meal or a drink, take a look at the pieces, and enjoy a cozy evening surrounded by great food, great people, and handcrafted island art.
