Bramble Blossom is primarily a Fiber Art Studio and I’m Lisa, a fiber art, macrame, and mixed media artist. I specialize in tactile design projects like weaving, macramé and small batch candle making with attention to handmade home decor items for interior spaces. For example, I create unique coasters, table runners, tapestries, wall hangings, plant hangers, and more.

I love being a Creator
Most days you’ll find me in my charming boutique fiber art studio space with my sidekick and chocolate lab, Poppy. We’re located on beautiful Vancouver Island BC, Canada, which is an inspiring place to be. This is where I create new designs, source my colours and textiles, and blend essential oils for hand poured candles.
Bramble Blossom is a dream project for me. I grew up with a love of colours and textures and was lucky enough to have teachers who wanted to share their creative talents with me. One of my favourite teachers introduced me to the world of fiber art and mixed media design. She mentored me through my very first large scale textile work, which was created on a loom with wool that was carted, spun and dyed by yours truly!
Fast forward to current day and Bramble Blossom Studio. I create each fiber art product with organic fibres and natural found objects. Additionally, I purchase supplies locally and within Canada as much as possible, with the goal of supporting other creatives along the way. I integrate any other textiles into my work by purchasing from fair trade companies. For my hand poured small batch candles I use only 100% natural essential oils and organic soy wax. All of my glass candle jars are food grade and recyclable. In this way, I hope to infuse some good karma and positivity into each creation.
