I love to have little happy nooks in my house. If you just need a moment to catch your breath on a busy day, find a good spot to quietly read a book, take in a peaceful view, or enjoy some sunshine and an iced tea in the summer, we've got lots of places to do it. And each spot will be a nice cozy nook in the winter when it's too cold to go outside. I love to have freshly cut flowers arranged in vases around the house year round, or to decorate the table. I also like the idea of creating little bouquets to give to friends, family, and neighbours, right from my own garden. So even though we're getting a late start in the garden this year; I decided to go ahead and plant seeds in the container gardens anyways. We'll wait and see what happens. We're getting a lot of beautiful sunny days so hopefully in another 3 to 4 weeks, I'll be posting beautiful photos of flowers in full bloom. …

We moved in to our new house just over a month ago on April 1st; 14 months to the day from when the builders first broke ground on our property! We are thankful to the whole crew who made this happen for us. I know you've all been waiting for updates but, unpacking boxes and getting settled takes time. Also, despite how careful we've been, we managed to somehow get COVID immediately after moving in. Yikes!
